Elizabeth Rolfe is a hardworking and dedicated young peasant. She is very humbled due to many terroristic events in her life. Though she has a tendency to be rash, she is a wise girl. Elizabeth is kind but does not like to be taken advantage of. She has a particularly pleasant personality, though some people found her to be insolent. She has a short temper and often lashes out at those she loves most. She can be very lazy and disrespectful.

History:
Elizabeth (Beth) Rolfe was born into a poor, disrespected family. Her father was a farmer while her mother worked to care for her three children. Beth was expected to care for her two younger brothers and she hardly found time for anything else. When she was 11 years old her mother died of an influenza which was spreading through the village. Soon it had also claimed the life of her youngest brother, Richard. Elizabeth struggled to deal with the two deaths in such a short time. She has been forever altered because of it.

Elizabeth smiled as she saw the sun rise. It was morning, the best time of the day and perhaps the only time she ever got to herself. And this was only is she woke up early enough before her father and brother did. Lately she had had a yearning to get away from this place. Her home had fenced her in, and even though it was unlikely for a peasant woman to ever become anything more than a housewife, Beth still wanted to. She smiled as she began to hum a familiar tune that her mother had used to sing to her. The image of her was fading in Beth's mind after such a long absence. She missed her more than anyone else. She missed her company and all her teachings.
Beth changed her train of thought realizing she did not want to bring down her good mood. Lately there had not been much rain, which clearly showed in the dry grass and, unfortunately, the crops. Her father seemed rather flustered over the lack of rain and had often spoken of this and nothing else.
Upon hearing a small voice behind her she stopped abruptly immediately recognizing it. Her breathe seemed to catch in her throat as she looked down at her bedraggled appearance. Her simple brown dress made her appear all that she was, a peasant and nothing more.
Elizabeth closed her eyes and let out a deep breathe as she turned around to face them. "Hello." She finally said in a voice that obviously lacked confidence and was drained of all life.
